Speaking Out about Violence Against

 Women

Violence against women continues to be an enormous problem in our society. Many college students are directly affected by this issue. It is time to speak out, no longer keeping it secret. Towson University students are invited to submit pieces of poetry, short fiction or creative non-fiction that captures their reactions to this epidemic, expressing the range of reactions to witnessing and/or directly experiencing violence against women. Select pieces will be chosen to be read at a reception on April 15, 2009.
