Biography
As a dancer and educator, Ms. Webster has worked with companies such as Ground Zero, Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, Mason Rhynes Production, and CityDance Ensemble. Ms. Webster joined CityDance in 2000. Her work within public schools and community lead her as Director of Outreach Education with CityDance Ensemble in 2005 and as Director of Education in 2006. She is responsible for the creation and development of Early Arts teacher training, and the growth of CityDance’s outreach programs since 2003. Under Ms. Webster’s active direction, CityDance’s outreach program grew from six school partnerships to thirty-one, including reaching over 25,000 children through in-school residencies, after-school programs and performances in four short years. Ms. Webster also managed and directed the Early Arts Performing Company from 2003 – 2007, and CityDance’s pre-professional program in 2007.
