Open Houses

What's the best way to get to know Towson? Spend a day here as part of our Open House program. You'll get an overview of the university and the chance to talk one-on-one with your future professors and classmates. You will learn about the seven colleges that make up our university, and we'll have programs for you and your parents, plus an information fair and refreshments.

Small group sessions with deans, associate deans and department chairs    

who will share information about TU's majors and what it's like to study at TU.  You will have time for questions and answers following the presentations.

Information Fair

Deciding on the right college can raise a lot of questions.  Our academic colleges, departments and representatives from across campus provide information, answer your questions and assist you with your college search.  Refreshments will be available.

Honors College Information Session (optional) 

Representatives from the Honors College will share information about         admissions, curriculum, scholarships, and our on-campus community.

Campus Tours*

Our Student Ambassadors are ready to share our campus and their TU experience with experience with you.  During a one-hour walking tour, you will see a residence hall, the "Beach," dining facilities, Cook Library and more.  You'll see why our students love TU.

*We are expecting a large number of guests and ask for your patience as tours depart during the Information Fair. Departure from campus may be a bit longer depending on when you complete your campus tour.

Persons with disabilities who may need special accommodations should contact the university at 410-704-4696 at least two weeks before their scheduled visit date.

There are a variety of hotels located within a 15 mile radius of campus.

Visiting Baltimore

The city of Baltimore offers visitors a wide range of attractions, including museums, special events, historical sights, and the beautiful Inner Harbor.
